Honor Rendall graduated from Loughborough University with a BSc in Human Biology. She is an artist currently experimenting in abstraction and portraiture, and uses both types of art to create parts of faces immersed in abstract marks. This unusual combination allows the viewer to interpret each painting differently via the emotion and colour expressed through the work. Each element of the painting balances to show the face acting in unison with the background.
Each plywood painting is mounted within the frame on to foam pads to create a 3D effect. The background colour and frame colour has been uniquely chosen to enhance the beauty of the plywood mini. Each frame has a hook so you are easily able to hang this piece up on a wall.
