Collection: Claire Graves

I studied a BA hons in Multi-Media Textile design at Loughborough University. My Textiles are all about texture and detail and combining many materials to make a piece of art which is not too serious and can make people smile. I work as a secondary  school teacher teaching 11-16s pupils Textile Art which I have enjoyed for nearly 20 years. I love to inspire them and I think they keep me young and they inspire me too. I create most of my work on my treasured Bernina machine where I draw with thread using the free-motion technique.
